Preparations for the shooting day

During the preparations for the shooting day , we were discussing our ideas according the equipment that we might need . So we decided that we need a book in which  we are going to hide a memory stick (we ordered it from the internet) and also we need to make the sure that we have lots of books that look like people who live in this house are actually reading them . So , it can't really be any math  or biology books for example . Another think that we need is to make sure that our characters wear the appropriate cloths . So , for the boy we need to have black cloths (black T-shirt , black trousers and black shoes or trainers) . For the man who lives in this house we need to have a suit (preferably a dark one , so either black , grey or dark blue and a black pair of shoes) . In terms of the cloths , we don't really need anything else , because there are going to be only two characters in out thriller . another important point to consider is that we need to make sure that when we are going to be filming in the library , it looks like someone's house . So , we will need to remove all the folders that students usually leave on the table and just make sure that nothing really shows off like its a school library .

Changing the idea

After the second pitch for Mike we had to change our thriller idea because the first idea came out to be a bit too complicated to make and also we as the whole group decided that we don't really like it anymore . So , we had many different ideas which we could film but the one that we chose was about someone hiding something really important and the other person is trying o find it . At first we thought that it might be interesting to hide something in a safe , but as we needed a really big one , we couldn't find or afford to buy it as they are quite expensive , so we had to think about the place that we could easily find in the school . One option was to make a safe in the studio , but w came to a conclusion that it wouldn't look that effective , so the next idea was to hide the object (which came up to be a memory stick ) in the book , so in terms of location , library was the perfect place to film . We wanted out thriller to be in someone's house and I think that the library worked quite well for it .
